Neuro Specialist Occupational Therapy

Neurological conditions can profoundly affect every aspect of daily life, from how you move, think, and communicate, to how you work, care for yourself and others, and find enjoyment. As a neurological Occupational Therapist, I work with individuals and, where appropriate, their chosen family members, carers or colleagues to identify what matters most, and to build a pathway that supports maximum participation and quality of life.

With extensive clinical experience across a range of complex neurological conditions, I provide a comprehensive, person-centred service, ensuring that we work together towards realistic, meaningful and achievable client centred goals.

What a Neurological OT Assessment Involves

A comprehensive initial OT assessment is the foundation of everything I do. This assessment is holistic looking at the whole person, not just the diagnosis. I will explore how your condition is affecting your daily activities, your home environment, your social roles, and your personal goals. From this, I develop a detailed rehabilitation plan tailored specifically to you.

Why Choose a Neurological OT?

Neurological rehabilitation requires a depth of knowledge that goes beyond general OT practice. As a neuro-specialist OT, I understand the complex and often fluctuating nature of conditions like MS, Parkinson’s, and brain injury. I use evidence-based techniques including fatigue management frameworks, cognitive rehabilitation strategies, and client-centred goal setting to deliver a service that is both clinically rigorous and practically meaningful for you and your family.

I work independently and can be commissioned directly, through a solicitor or case manager, or as part of a wider rehabilitation package. Reports produced following assessment are detailed, professionally presented, and suitable for legal, insurance, and care planning purposes.
